Between the people who make and the people who buy

VAP Trade Limited is a sourcing and representation agency for the textile, clothing, footwear and leather goods trade. The company was incorporated in England in May 2026 and is based near Leicester — one of the UK's historic centres for textiles and apparel.

We sit between the people who make products and the people who buy them. For buyers, we look for and vet suitable suppliers. For suppliers, we introduce their range to UK trade buyers. We are paid a commission or agreed fee for arranging and supporting each order — we do not manufacture goods and we do not hold our own stock.

We stay on your side of the table

Most businesses in this sector either make goods or buy and resell them. We do neither, and that's deliberate. As an independent agent we source to your brief, represent your range honestly, and manage the practical detail of an order without taking ownership of the goods or hiding a margin inside the price.

Who we are

A new agency, run by its director

VAP Trade was founded in May 2026 by its director, who runs the business day to day and is your point of contact on every enquiry. We are a small, new company, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.

Because we don't yet have a long track record to point to, we earn trust in practical ways:

  • Our fee is agreed in writing before any order goes ahead.
  • Buyers get the supplier's full company details, so you can make your own checks before you commit.
  • We never ask a buyer to pay us before an order is confirmed, and we never handle payment for the goods.
  • We are happy to start with samples or a small trial order.
